What is Cannabidivarin or CBDv?

It’s a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid produced in the hemp plant very similar to (CBD), however, CBDv is extracted from the “Varin” strain.

Although it’s similar to regular CBD, CBDv has a propyl chain carbon molecule instead of a pentyl chain carbon molecule. This simply means that both CBD and CBDv have the same molecular formula and the same number of atoms in each formula. The most striking unique difference is in their construction. 

CBDv is a pure isolate crystal in appearance whereas regular CBD is most often constructed as an oil or topical gel also mixed with other ingredients to enhance absorption.
