Which HHC is Right For Me?

Which HHC is Right For Me?

Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is a novel phytocannabinoid that recently has come to dominate the cannabinoid marketplace and its popularity has steadily risen in online communities for its positive effects. HHC is known to have many similar effects to Delta 9 THC and is almost as strong according to many users. HHC and its derivatives produce effects of pain relief, anti-anxiety and a feeling of well-being. The popularity of HHC has led to new HHC derivatives to be formulated. Two of these cannabinoids HHC-Oac and HHC-P will be discussed to facilitate a better understanding of these exciting new additions and how they compare to each other with possible benefits.

One HHC derivative is HHC-Oac which is also referred to as HHC acetate or HHC-O. Throughout the history of medicine, compounds often have an acetate added which makes it a prodrug. A prodrug must undergo chemical conversion by metabolic processes before becoming an active pharmacological agent.  In the case of HHC-O, HHC has an acetate added to it, which makes it a prodrug.  Aspirin is an example of a prodrug. So what makes HHC-O better is that with the addition of the acetate, it is more able to cross the blood-brain barrier.  Our body’s metabolism has enzymes that cleave the acetate off of making HHC readily available at cb1 receptors.

HHC-O has great medicinal effects due to it being a prodrug version of HHC.  While HHC you usually feel pretty quickly after vaporizing, HHC-O will take anywhere from 15-30 minutes to kick in.  It is sometimes good to mix HHC-O with other cannabinoids allowing a gradual intensification of effects.  Once your body has metabolized the acetate, it will readily bond to cannabinoid receptors, much easier than HHC alone, giving a much stronger effect.  One aspect of HHC-O is that it typically is stronger than HHC alone due to its higher bio-availability.  It shares attributes with THC-O with low viscosity and extremely smooth vaping and is versatile in edibles.  The positive effects of pain relief, anti-anxiety and feelings of euphoria are going to be stronger than if you have HHC instead.

Another HHC derivative is the King of all cannabinoids, which is HHC-P.  HHC-P shares many affinities with Delta 9 THC-P, in that they both have a carbon tail composed of seven carbons.  This longer tail allows them to bind to the cb1 receptor much stronger than other cannabinoids.  It is not thought to be a full agonist, although it is very strong.  Delta 9 THC-P is estimated to bind at cb1 approximately 33 times stronger than Delta 9 THC.  This does not mean it is 33 times the strength.  It can be clearly said that HHC-P will be significantly stronger than HHC. Most users will mix HHC-P at smaller percentages due to how strong it is.

Where Can I Find HHC, HHC-O and HHC-P?

HHC, HHC-O and HHC-P can all be found in distillate forms on Vivimu.com.  HHC is a thick distillate; it has to be heated to work with due to this viscosity.  HHC with its hydrogen saturated condition does not as readily oxidize and will store for a longer period of time when compared to THC.  Most users compare the strength of HHC as more similar to Delta 9 THC.  HHC-O is a wonder to work with and mix, especially for first time mixers.  At room temperature, the viscosity is significantly less than other distillates, allowing you to work with it more easily.  Its lower viscosity is good for thinning super high viscosity distillates like Delta 8 THC or HHC, while making the mix more strong.  Many users note there is a delay in the onset of effects with HHC-O, but when it does creep up, it will be noticeably stronger than HHC alone.  Lastly Vivimu.com has HHC-P distillate the King of cannabinoids.  Why is it king you may ask, it is the strength of HHC-P, expect it to be many times the strength of HHC even at diluted amounts.  Due to its powerful strength it is recommended to mix in smaller percentages with other distillates.  The user of HHC-P can expect intensified HHC effects and typically lasting for a much longer period of time.

HHC-P can be noticed in percentages as small as 2%, so although seemingly expensive per gram, it is actually more cost effective than most cannabinoids due to its incredible strength and much longer lasting.

When purchasing cannabinoids the consumer needs to be careful where they source them. HHC-O and HHC-P are both very new on the market.  It is difficult to get C.O.A.’s for these newer cannabinoids until standards are made.  HHC should have a C.O.A. wherever you purchase it, but pay particular attention that the C.O.A. is from an accredited laboratory.  So without C.O.A. 's yet available, it is safe practice to only purchase from reliable vendors such as Vivimu. They are widely known throughout online communities as the one source for bulk cannabinoids first and foremost in safety and unrivaled quality of their products.  It should be noted that acetate versions of THC sold readily by most vendors are of low quality and will have a strong vinegar smell  Vivimu is noted for their superior Delta THC-O and this quality is carried over into their HHC-O and will be known as the industry standard.

Bottom Line

HHC has brought life into the cannabinoid marketplace and incredibly now stronger derivatives are available.  HHC, the most commonly available, is the most well-known and is noted as being an alternative to Delta 9 THC. HHC-O a powerful acetate version of HHC affords the smoothest vapor, you can imagine and stronger effects then HHC. Lastly, HHC-P is the most exciting of the derivatives in that it is extremely potent and will be felt by even the most THC tolerant users. All three are powerful well regarded cannabinoids and the hardest part will be to decide which one you want to try first.
